I have reached a stage in my life when all I have left is a bottle of booze and this acheing feeling of guilt and shame. The music I forced on the world over the years has really been starting to get me down. It has been with a disgusting level of manipulation and opportunism that I have been able to scrape a living with boring, unoriginal country numbers like "She Left Love All Over Me" and countless covers and rip-offs of Wilson Pickett, my eternal idol. I wanted to grow up and be musician ever since I was kid, but not this way. There's no truth, soul or honor in the way I have been masquading as a real songwriter, disgracing true musicians with albums like 'Feelin' Allright'. For that I ask God's forgivness, if he exists...
So, it is without further notice that I am retiring from music permanently, with great shame for the past 40 years of woeful tunes. For them I apologise sincerly.
Yours with love,
Razzy.
P.S. My real name is Erastus. Now you can see why I changed it.

Feelin' Allright yeah. You will feel all right if you've been in as many orgies as Razzy. Dirty fucker. There's one at my house next week Razzy if you fancy it. I've got 20 bottles of your favourite baby lotion in my cupboard. Johnsons right? Yeah, the real slippery one. Some of the ladies can't wait for you to grease them up like a pork chop. Keep on Cockin'

Razzy I (along with thousands of others) knew you years ago in Macon when you were playing at "Nashville South".
I HAD several of your albums from that time period but my stepson borrowed them (he was trying out for your band at the time) and I never got them back. I do still have an album entitled "If Love Had A Face" but my "Razzy" album and the 45's are gone. Any way........We saw you regularly, even sat at your table, and I never knew that you were born in Hugely! My grandmother and great grandmother lived in Fairfax and I spent a lot of my growing up summers there. Uncle Joe DeLoach ran a little store in Hugely. IT'S A SMALL WORLD indeed. Best of luck to you. I'd love to see you in concert again........do you still do any?

Hi Razzy!
I'd just like to say, what a shame it is that nothing can be done about these obscene messages! Your work is so inspiring for many people, it has certainly brought alot of joy to me in my life! That is why i would like to take a moment to personally address the people responsible for these horrid messages! I know people like you, university students no doubt that have nothing better to do with your time, except slate other people's hard work, just because you could never achieve anything better yourselves. It is a true shame, no doubt you like talentless artists like neil young, spock's beard and almost certainly playhawk.
Keep playing that blissful music Razzy!

Hey Razzy, I grew up in the early 80's listening to your music as a young teenager. I found your music very soulful and unforgettable. You and a few others at that time period like T.G Sheppard and Con Hunley where my main influences at that time. I can't help myself sometimes to try and find your music once again. Someone at youtube has soothe my desire to hear your music once again. Glad to see your still around!

Razzy, I was wondering if your dad Raise is still alive? If I remember correctly didn't he sing with you on one of your songs. I am thinking it was "Too Old To Play Cowboy."
I hope this finds Faye and you doing well. Have a great week.

Hi Razzy. I am a longtime fan of yours. I was wondering where I could find all of your song lyrics and maybe all of your older albums. I love the song "I Hate Hate".

Your unwanted 'poster' once again proves "Stupid is as stupid does"! Those of us who check in occasionally to read the posts only glance at it long enough to recognize it for what it is and move on.

When I read your bio I was shocked to not see any mention of what had to be the highlight of your career! In 1983 you played the El Dorado Springs (Missouri) annual "Picnic" and it was not even mentioned! lol (just kidding) I was going through some things in my basement earlier and ran on to the promo poster that had been in my business window at that time and decide to google you...and so here I am leaving you a message.

To all our great friends and the new "Fans" we have recently met in Phenix City, Al. What a great week-end! "Thank you"
I apologize that Razzy has been unable to put up and add different things to this site that we hold dear to us. But, our web-master seems to avoid giving us our password to get into here. He was paid in advance, and we have called an unreasonable amount of times, so we really do apologize to all of you for not sharing the things with you that we feel important. Thank you!

I am sorry to say, that Razzy's father did pass away. He held on long enough for Razzy to get to him from a show and fly to the hospital and he stayed by his father's side. His father was a great influence to him, his music and his family. So, he still lives on and I did not have the pleasure of knowing this kind gentleman.
